Wild Activity Day

Even though we are still experiencing some restrictions due to COVID, we known that both Key and Essential Workers still need to go out to do their job, and that grandparents and other family members may not be able to provide childcare.

So we are using our Wild Activity Days as a form of childcare, where children aged 8-14 years can forget the frustrations of months at home in the Baby Moon wild wood. Bring a waterproof coat, send a packed lunch, drop them off for 10am then we’ll hand them back at 4pm, tired, happy and full of fresh air. We’ll explore the wood and light the fire, maybe shoot some arrows or throw some axes on the range. We’ll eat lunch around the fire under our parachute shelter in the camp.

Please discuss with your child the need to maintain social distance, and provide them with anti-bacterial hand gel (the hot tap doesn’t work in the woods…).

See this link for all the booking details, including directions, booking conditions, suggested clothing and our online Participant Information Form (please complete one of these prior to attending…).

The Wild Activity Days take place at Baby Moon, Redcar Road, Dunsdale, TS14 6RH.
Places are limited and unfortunately the ages are dictated by child care laws.
