HOME EDUCATING FAMILIES
Rewilding is pleased to support Home Educating families, both in terms of the weekly Forest School group we run through the seasons, or with attendance at some of the other activities and courses we offer.
Details of the Weekly Home Educators’ Forest School session can be found below!
Weekly Home Educators’ Forest School
Currently, we host a Forest School session for Home Educating Families each Wednesday afternoon, 1pm-4pm , at Baby Moon, Redcar Road, Dunsdale, TS14 6RH.
Currently there’s children as young as 2 years olds, and teenagers who are aged 15 attending, with a range of activities and adventures to be had- it really is a child-led approach that we follow!
It is £7.50 per child per session, and places can be booked on a half-term block basis. See this link for the booking page.
Please follow this link for a Facebook group specifically for Home Educating Families who attend the Forest School sessions. Please answer the questions so we can approve your request!
In addition to the Forest School session, we periodically run Home Education specific programmes, such as:
- Our Weekly Feral Club
- NSRA Youth Proficiency Scheme (Air Rifle)
- National Navigation Award Scheme
- Young Navigator Star Awards
If there’s a particular event or activity you would like to do, we can arrange to meet your needs at a time that suits you.
