Please note: Rewilding Adventure has an excellent safety record. Yet, the concept of ‘Adventure’, by definition includes an element of risk; indeed, there is risk involved in outdoor adventure, Forest School and bushcraft activities undertaken by Rewilding Adventure. Every reasonable effort has been made to reduce, avoid or remove risks (please see the full Disclaimer in the Booking Conditions below).

1. Booking and Consent Forms:

Firstly, the boring legal stuff!

Secondly, here’s the Participant Information Form in three formats; please forward to everyone attending, and have one completed for each participant.

2. Suggested Clothing and Equipment Lists

Suggested  Clothing (for day-long Activities), activities do take place in a woodland, and people are likely to get mucky:

  • Waterproof coat (and trousers if available)
  • Fleece/Warm Layer (two or three in cold weather)
  • Hat, Gloves and Scarf (during colder weather)
  • Sturdy Footwear (walking boots or wellies)
  • Personal Medication
  • Long hair tied back
  • Natural clothing materials are better around the fire than man-made ones
  • Change of clothes and spare shoes (if attending a Wild Activity Day)
  • Plastic bag/bin bag to put dirty clothes in

4. Insurance

5. DBS Details

We operate all activities in line with our Safeguarding Policy, which states that all staff are required to hold a satisfactory DBS certificate. As a result of GDPR, we cannot hold a copy, neither can we make one available to third parties.

We confirm that all staff working on behalf of Rewilding hold a satisfactory DBS, which we have recorded both he certificate number and date of issue. If staff are visiting your site and your policy requires sight of the DBS certificate then please let us know (staff are routinely requested to produce it upon signing in to sites we are visiting).

6. Risk Assessments

Here’s the risk assessments for common activities. If your activity package includes other activities then we can forward the relevant risk assessments for you.
