Adventure Activity Day | Summer 2026 | The Link CIC

These Adventure Activity Days are funded by The Link CIC, Redcar, and this link is intended for their participants to book (please only book if The Link CIC or partners has shared this booking link with you).

The days are for children aged 8-14 years to enjoy the woods during the school holidays. Bring a waterproof coat, dress for the weather (hat and gloves if it’s chilly…), with sturdy footwear (wellies or walking boots are ideal).  We’ll explore the wood and light the fire, maybe shoot some arrows or throw some axes on the range. We’ll prepare and cook a fresh meal on the campfire, so no need to send a packed lunch.

The Adventure Activity Days take place at Rewilding Adventure, Redcar Road, Dunsdale, TS14 6RH, but we have arranged pick-ups from the following places:

• Sat. 1^st Aug., Community Ventures Ltd, The Green Way Thorntree
• Sat. 8^th Aug., The Link CIC, Palace Hub, Esplanade, Redcar
• Sat. 15^th Aug., Community Ventures Ltd, The Green Way, Thorntree
• Sat. 22^nd Aug., StrHive, Near the Band Stand, Glenside, Saltburn

All pick ups will be at 9.30am, with children being returned to  he same locations at 3.30pm.

It’s a good idea to send them with a change of clothes, mainly for when they come home, so they can get changed. They are likely to come home muddy (very muddy! More muddy than you’re expecting…) and need a bath! Please leave mobile phones and other devices at home.

Please provide the names of the children who you have booked on, so we can add them to the attendance list; include any health, food allergy or intolerance notes in the comment section also.

Please: make a note of the dates you are booking (we often get parents ringing up who have forgotten the dates).

Places are limited and unfortunately the ages are dictated by child care law.
